Hi John,

I assume that your problem occurs at ALL airports, default and/or addon.

Points 1, 2 and 3 are in your case, the ones concerning the gear wheels. Point 1 is for the nose gear while 2 and 3 are for the left and right main gear wheels. All three are independent of each other.

Back up the whole aircraft.cfg file just in case something goes completely wrong.

In all three contact points you need to look at the figure after the third comma but go for the nose gear first.

Write down the existing figure (-17.130) somewhere and then change e.g. the "-17" part to -18 (or -16) and save your aircraft.cfg file.

Select the same aircraft from your drop down menu and see what has happened to your nose wheel tyre. Keep repeating this procedure with different edits until the tyre is correctly positioned on the ground. Fine tuning is done with the decimal part of the figure.

Do the same for the two main gear contact points but in this case keep editing both figures (-17.330) with the same values.

If after all this your plane sits on it's wheels correctly but seems to fall a foot or so after e.g. changing from cockpit view to external view, then you should experiment with the "Static_cg_height" figure in the same way as for the gear.

Good luck.

Hans
