Do I need to setup Mapped Drives?

Recommended Posts

I am about to purchase Active Sky 2012 and I will setup in a network environment. Both the Client and Server PC's are Win 7 64-bit OS's.

The 3 folders called out in the Manual on page 88 have been setup to be shared on the server. On the server, I have FSX installed on the F: partition, and the OS installed on the C: partition.

My questions is, do I need to map to those two partitions (Server C: and F:) on the Client PC so AS2012 can "communicate" weather information to the server?

I do just because FSCommader people recommend it. You will have to map the drives where the files are installed that AS wants to share. So yes I reckon
