June 16, 200421 yr Now this is strange and just started happening...After moving an aircraft in slew mode on the ground, when I go back to regular mode, the aircraft is suddenly moving very fast and at an altitude of several hundred feet...The throttle is at zero and the plane was sitting still when I entered slew mode...Any ideas on how I can cure this? Makes it impossible to set up flights or adjust position of the plane on the ground...Thanks!
June 16, 200421 yr It can't have just started happening, it's by design in FS2004!You need to press F2 to make sure the wheels are on the ground before you come out of slew mode. Any time the aircraft doesn't have the wheels in contact with the ground the speed is automaticlly set to a suitable value and when you engage slew the wheels are `lifted` off the ground anyway.Hope this helpsAllcott
June 16, 200421 yr Or press F1 to idle the throttle before exiting slew. That always stops the problem for me.
