Being that now my simulator is in my living room and the better half was always complaining everytime I left the yoke, pedals and throttle quadrant hooked up to the table, I decided to come up with a table which would allow me to quickly set it up, install my hardware and once done, take it apart and storing it in the closet.

I did some research on the Internet and found a very similar table mainly used for driving wheels, so I took that idea and came up with this table shown below in the pics. The table does not have variable heights but the yoke ends up at being 33" off the ground, which is exactly how the real B737-800NG's yoke is. I might be wrong but I don't that height would be an average for many other aircrafts. As you will see, I have Saitek yoke/pedals/quadrants installed and everything is just perfect as far as placement is concerned.

The table is EXTREMELY sturdy. I would say it can easily support about 100lbs but being this is the "prototype", I don't want to make it go right now through a weight capacity test. It can easily be folded and stored away.

The driving wheel version of this table starts at $79 + shipping in eBay. If I have enough people interested in getting one of these, I would take orders at a cheaper price than the one on eBay.

And of course, yoke/pedals/throttle are NOT INCLUDED.

Without further a do, here are the pics:

Hi Efrain

How did you get 2 quadrants stuck together like that?

Did you simply glue them together or something else?

Nice stand, looks awesome, I'd like to be able to build something like this for our Air Cadet squadron here in the UK if you would be happy to share the plan/measurments?

The throttles are held in place by 2 metal brackets underneath them.

Awesome, I assume you then painted the throttle quadrants, sticks and bracket...

Can I ask ask again, would you be happy to share the plans? I'm interested in building one for our air cadets...

Couldnt possibly buy one from the US as the cost of it, and postage would be too much for Air Cadets, but would be great to get them involved in building it themselves..

Dont mind offering a reasonable fee for the details.. Its just the distance/weight/shipping that makes this unfeasable as an international purchase..
