August 18, 201213 yr Commercial Member Seeing that you have SSDs, I suggest you disable hibernation which is responsible for the hiberfil.sys file and as for the pagefile, set it to a max/min of 1024MB (1GB) ONLY on your OS drive. Disable pagefile for the other 2 drives. That's the way I have it on my system and it's been working great. To make hibernation unavailable, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box. 2. In the search results list, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as Administrator. 3. When you are prompted by User Account Control, click Continue. 4. At the command prompt, type powercfg.exe /hibernate off, and then press ENTER. 5. Close the Command Prompt window. 6. Done. To change pagefile, follow these steps: 1. Open System by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking System. 2. In the left pane, click Advanced system settings. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. 3. On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings. 4. Click the Advanced tab, and then, under Virtual memory, click Change. 5. Clear the Automatically manage paging file size for all drives check box. 6. Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file you want to change (C: in your case). 7. Click Custom size, type 1024 in the Initial size (MB) AND Maximum size (MB) box, click Set. 8. Click the other 2 drives and select No Paging File. 9. Click OK. 10. Restart PC if needed. 11. Done.
