Strange autogen tree fade effect

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've just gotten a new graphics card, the very capable Nvidia Geforce GTX 560 Ti. I haven't upgraded to a new graphic card in several years so it's a bit hard to explain...

There is an ugly fade-effect applied to the autogen trees in FSX. It only happens to those trees that has vertical textures to make the roof of forests seem more dense.

The problem is that this creates an ugly light green line as these parts of the trees fades in.

Here's a picture that might explain it better:

Basically are there any setting in the nvidia control panel or fsx.cfg files that disables this fade-in effect to a portion of the tree-object?

Note: I don't think this is a hardware issue, or I would post in the hardware-forum.
