I am upgrading my computer to

CPU I7 3770K to be oc on air.

Gigabyte GV-N680OC-2GB video Card

SSD 256GB Sata3

 

Ram are a bit confused on, QVL list says that DDR3 2200 and above modules will run at 2133Mhz default.

Does this mean that they can only be run by O/Clocking the Modules to get the higher speed ??

 

Which is better 2 sticks fitted or 4 sticks of same total size ?? (2x8 GB or 4x 4 GB)

 

Which is the better CL9 or CL11, I believe the CL11 is the better option ??

 

So many conflicting views out there, makes your head swim.

This is for FSX only.

Your motherboard's UEFI will allow you to choose a setting for your RAM that can run at 2200 or higher.

 

2 things about choosing RAM: higher clock speeds are better, lower CL numbers are better.
