August 28, 201213 yr Hello, since the S-Turn-problems with PMDG-Planes are well known, some questions come to my mind on how FSUIPC works with weather engines such as Active Sky series. For example: to solve the s-turn-issue we are advised to suppress wind turbulence, gusts and variance in FSUIPC. Active Sky also provides a slider where wind turbulence maximum strengh can be set. I have read that AS uses Simconnect and not FSUIPC, so I am a bit confused about how they work together: for example: does deactivating wind turbulence effects in FSUIPC suppress ALL wind turbulence effects in FSX weather or only the ones simulated by FSUIPC? I know that turbulence effects are still there when suppressing them in FSUIPC settings, but I cannot tell for sure wether they are from wind or not. ;) I also know that most peoples answer on that issue is to almost disable turbulence effects at all saying "PMDG aircraft can't take them" what is not what I want. So, does suppressing turbulence in FSUIPC also suppress effects caused by AS2012 or not? please help me understand that. thx ;)
