Decided to give 1.4 a good thorough run through after toning down some of my settings.. I've noticed a few comments (especially issues on the Orbx forum) of a lot of crashing taking place and I've had a few myself where as with 1.3 I hardly ever had any. I think 1.4 is a bit more sensitive to `pushing the envelope' of the sim and really stressing it out especially now that more people are using water reflections again.. I noticed when first running 1.4 I saw a lot of the terrain randomly doing the classic FSX all black rectangles on random areas of terrain now and then on a regular basis which is a sure fire sign you're pushing things a bit.

So I toned down my settings and surprising all it took was going from Very Dense down to Dense AutoGen.. Max scenery complexity, 5.5 LOD, Reflections Sky, Clouds, Sim Objects, No Cars, Boats, Ferry, or AI traffic. 1920x1080 w/ 8X SSAA

Then I picked a resource heavy plane and booked a long flight..

Two straight hours flying from Concrete Municipal (payware version) to Port Hardy.. 253nm trip at a cruising altitude of only 6,000ft that passes through a lot of sparse area, then through heavy Vancouver, and over a ton of water also.. Performed flawlessly the entire trip with both screens of the G1000 up the entire time.
