Hey gang,Does anyone know if there's a way to tell if a certain ERJ flight is operated by a regular 145 or an XR? I would assume probably not, but I thought I'd float the question here. Does anyone know where they use the XRs? I've seen a picture of one in Knoxville...which doesn't make much sense to me if the XR is a longer-range variant. Then again, I may have missed the boat (er, plane) altogether on what the XR is.Thanks in advance,

The XRJs can be found on the very long flights such as EWR-OMA, EWR, MCI, RIC-IAH, IAH-PSP, CLE-AUS, etc. since they can only be done with an XRJ. However, as more XRJs are delivered, you will also see them on shorter flights.

Add DAB-EWR to the list. My instructor's boyfriend flies them and says that EWR is about 50 miles out of range from DAB for the normal variant.
