I was wondering if the vc windows are tinted in this. Am thinking about purchasing but don't like vfr flying with weird colors. Thanks,Todd

Hey Todd, Long time no hear from. Yes the windows are tinted. It is a green tint and looks pretty good. I was looking for a screen to show you, but I don't have one here at work. It is a great airplane!! You will like it.Take Care, Ron

Hi Todd,Great plane... but yes, the VC windows are tinted. Personally I don't mind tinted windows but if you ask me Carendo should make an option to have tinted or non-tinted windows.Regards,Jim

I was able to remove the tinting on the VC windows in the V35... Two textures are used for that model--one for the outside and one for the inside. By tweaking the alpha channel and color of the inside texture, I was able to eliminate the tinting. It's possible the '210 was set up the same way--you may just want to try browsing the textures with DXTBMP and maybe you'll get lucky..-John

Thanks for the input guys. I think I'll ask Carenado if it's possible to eliminate it as John suggested.Ron, good to see you haven't TOTALLY forsaken flightsimming :-)I'll be in touch.Todd

Thats actually an easy fix. Convert the texture to a targa and DARKEN the alpha channel. The windows will be lighter. Very easy.ERic
