wow, this DC-3 is something else. First time I've had to order a CD rather than download online, so I was a bit thrown off by that, but having used the FS2002 version I had an idea what I was looking forward to so I did it. Got an email from Bill Rambow at 12:40am AST a while back, prolly 10:40pm his time, clarifying something on my order--they work late obviously--and bingo, here it is. Cleared through customs and ready to load. OMG, some aircraft, this is going to be hours and hours of fun. They even went so far as to give you an option to allow regular steering rather than the real tail-dragger steering with differential brakes and throttle. I'm impressed. The sounds, flight model, VC, 2D panel, outside visuals, they're all there. This is up there with the PMDG 737 and RFP 747. I'm a happy camper!!!thx much!!!!billg

Hi Bill,I really love this bird too! A great step up from the default DC-3. :D I posted screenshots of it a few days ago in the screenshot forum.Cheers,Jim

Just got my cd today, haven't been able to hop in the cockpit yet, but I've been through the manual and watched the videos..Looking forward to being able to take her for a spin! :)

I'm still grumbling about having to order a CD, but this sounds like it's worth it. I have the B-25 which might well have the best VC I've ever flown in. I guess I'll wait for a review, and then I will break down and order the plane ;)VOlker :]

Volker, I grumbled too. But I'm happy I stopped grumbling and ordered it. If this is what it's like buying by CD I might do it again. Totally painless, and I hate to say it, but you get that little kid feeling checking the mail every day. :-)Everything about it has been a positive experience. Do it!rgds, billgEDIT: for proper name. :-)

hey Jim, checked out your screenies in the other forum. Cool! This is one of those airplanes that it's hard to describe, you just have to do it. Too cool. Everything about it, the airplane, the people behind it, the cause behind it, all of it. I love it. Got my heavy jet, got my medium jet, and know I have I have my prop airliner. !!!!!!!!rgds, billg
