Pluginess... and Weather...

Featured Replies

I've searched the net, not deeply, trying to find any material regarding the way to design a plugin for injecting weather parameters into X-Plane10.

Any ideas?

Was there a weather injector for X-Plane9 ?

This doesn't mean I'm not satisfied with the progress in weather simulation, particularly when RW Weather is used, which has just suffered an important update with RC1, but I would be interested in finding a little bit more about how one can "mess" around with X-Plane10 internals in this particular subject - Weather...

Thx in advance for any suggestions / hints / links :-)

X-IvAp was a weather injector for X-Plane 9 (and a pilot client for the IVAO ATC network)... Source code is available here:

But the default weather engine changed a lot from X-Plane 9 to X-Plane 10. When using X-IvAp with X-Plane 10, I prefer disabling the IVAO weather until they release a new version.
