While flying the NGX during any aspect of flight FSX pauses for a few seconds acting like a file load and then resumes. This happens every three or four minutes and hard drive activity is indicated. After the pause, NGX resumes normal flight and ND tracks jump forward to "catch up". All of my other aircraft fly OK.

If you are using FSUIPC, turn off the automatic backups.
