September 14, 201213 yr I am considering pushing my 3820 past 4.3ghz. My question is, is it worth the hassle? I heard people get these things to a very stable 4.5-4.75, and even higher. Could someone give an honest opinion as to whether or not the performance gains in FSX are worth the hassle of messing with bclk's and voltages, or is going that high just for bragging rights? It's not like I'm not satisfied the way it is, but if I can get to some new plateau of performance by taking it this high, I will.
September 15, 201213 yr I don't see the point personally. It does sound like bragging rights a bit...only problem with bragging right is either no one cares or they just get envious (not really since the average age of a flight-simmer is 40+ it seems).

Since I didn't get many replies I'll take your's as the general consensus. I guess since I'm satisfied with what I got, there's no point risking fouling up my hardware. Thanks.
