X52 throttle 'noise'?

Featured Replies

Folks

I have an issue where the auto-throttle on the QW RJ is a bit dicky. It seems to be overridden by my X52 throttle slider when engaged. If I have the throttle set to idle for the entire flight, the auto-throttle works fine. I posted this on the QW support forum and it was suggested that I reduce the sensitivity and/null zone for the slider. Didn't sound that good an idea on a sliding device. The effect of that appears to simply be a reduced range of throttle, ie I can no longer reach full power with other aircraft. So is there a way I can reduce any 'noise' from the hardware and still maintain full range on the throttle? Or is it something else?
