Flight1 DC-9-30 Iron Knuckles Package

Featured Replies

Anyone...please...share info on what paint schemes come with the Flight1 DC-9-30 (Note: this package only comes with one model "30" according to website). There was only one review and a complete lack of information on the paint schemes!Help please...I want to purchase tomorrow!

I forget what comes with it, but there are 75 odd repaints here in library. Search under 2002 and 2004.

Eastern, Alleghany, Aeromexico, USAF (C-9A), Swissair cargo, Valujet, special Century of Flight livery.Don't know if Delta was included or if I installed it afterwards. With the literally dozens of liveries available here you can expand it to many more operators (including KLM, NWA, DCA)

Thanks everybody...already orderedbtw...what are the differences "cockpit wise" between the DC9 and MD80/81/83 aircraft. Second question, do you think city jet's MD80 series (soon to be released) will work with the Flight1 DC9 cockpit???Thanks, Darryl (AA777-223)

Well, there are at least 3 major MD80 panel variations, the orignal which was just a modified DC-9-50 panel with a new A/P and a few other changes, the later updated panel with newer instruments, and the glass panel from the MD88, which also made its way into other MD80s.The IK panel (2D version) should work with our MD80s, although some things won't work 100%, like the fuel gauges since there is a large difference and quantity, and the A/P isn't the same, but it should work ok. Not sure how the engine gauges will work since I havne't made any changes to the flight dynamics for the upgraded JT8D-200s fitted to the MD80s yet.
