Alabeo Waco YMF-5 and DX10

Featured Replies

Hello everyone

I'm having a great time trying out the DX10 shader mod/fix/magic and overall I'm thrilled with the result. I recently purchased the Waco YMF-5 from Alabeo and besides the fact that this is a beautifully crafted model I have noticed a couple of things that seem relevant to using DX10.

I know that some of you (Paul ) have this plane and wanted to know if you're seeing the same thing I am. First, I'm not seeing any of the external lights except landing and taxi lights; in particular the strobes, beacon, and nav lights...no square lights - just nothing. I have tested in DX9 and they seem ok.

The other thing I noticed was that using EZCA camera views don't include the pilot in external views. The defined external cameras that come with the aircraft package are fine.

Just thought I'd bring it up here to see if anyone else has these issues before requesting help from Alabeo.

Cheers!

Brent

Hmmm, if anybody cares, <_< it seems that DX10 has nothing to do with the lights not showing. I noticed that when using the cameras set up from EZca the lights weren't visible in addition to the pilot not showing. When using the Alabeo cameras they are all visible.
