September 29, 201213 yr Hi I have FSX+FSGX 2010 installed on same drive, want to move current install of fsglobal to new drive, to reduce demand on FSX drive. what is the easiest way to move fsglobal to another drive, is it 1. Copy FSGX2010 folder to new drive 2. Start FSX -> in scnery library window, update FSGX scenery areas to point to new location. 2b.Someone mentioned i need to edit scenery.cfg file, but no clue what edit to make. 3. Are there any other steps to this 4. And importantly how do you confirm its installed/moved ok. The point of this exercise is to reduce high demand on FSX drive, where FSGX is also currently installed. Spotted this using WIn7 Perf Monitor.

September 30, 201213 yr Author For what its worth i have made the chnage, and its nice to see fsx drive data request queue not going thorugh the roof as much anymore. Nice to see the previously dormant drive taking some of the HDD load. One of best ways to fix stutters in FSX is to perf monitor when to track resources when stutters occur.
