I downloaded the XP10 demo; what's the deal with the hat switch, and why does it not work as it does in MSFS?

 

 

I went to the settings and the only relevent info I could find is where I can set a "look left" or "look right" using the hat switch positions. When I use it that way, it leaves the VC view and goes back to the default 2D panel.

 

 

 

Is it possible to setup the hat switch to work as it should in a VC?

Not having the button selection open at this time, I would say that in the far right column you will find something like pan right and pan left. Below that you will find the same thing with fast as an option. You can assign the right (several positions) to the appropriate one and left to the opposite and achieve something simular to what it should be by default.
