July 4, 200421 yr Hi all! I am looking for some scenery for Northern Germany. I am looking specifically for the North Sea Islands of Wangerooge, Langeoog, Juist, etc. I have searched high and low, and if it does exist, it's well hidden. Thanks for any input!Don
July 4, 200421 yr They're an excellent airport done for Bremen by Oliver Pabst. Very very well done....billgEDIT: spell Bremen right, hehe.
July 4, 200421 yr Author That is a nice field. I have that one. Thanks!! :) I need to go a bit further North and West of there. These is a row of islands with small fields on them that are serviced by LFH. Here is their site: http://www.inselflieger.de/index.htmlThey show some scenery you can download from the airline (there's a first!) but it isn't much. I may have to find out more information and make it all if I can't find it.Don
July 4, 200421 yr Commercial Member Hi Don,there's a Hamburg scenery available here: http://www.hamburger-flusi-treff.de/download.htmlMoreover, at flightsim.com (and maybe here too, don't know) there's ostfr30.zip: "FS2002/FS2004 Eastfrisian Scenery 3.0. This is a very detailed East Frisian, Germany, scenery. It includes all islands with airports, the coastal towns and airports and further airports between N53-N54 and E8-E9. It includes also FS2004 and FS2002 AFD data and FS2004 AI traffic. By Marcel Kuhnt and Horst Weingaertner."as well as Rainer Duda's great river/lake replacement file series, such as ngerriv2.zipIn general, if you search for "north germany" in the file libraries you should find quite a few more interesting scenery files.Cheers, HolgerP.S. Thans for the Islander link: very nice!
July 4, 200421 yr Author Thank you very much Holger. I'm on my way right now! I appreciate all of your help! :)Don
July 5, 200421 yr Author That is ALL good stuff! I like those little "off the beaten path" sites. They offer so much! :) Do you know of any other little sites for the rest of Germany / Austria? This is all starting to take shape now! I love the Airbus buildings at Finkenwerder, with a big old Guppy parked on the ramp. I guess this is where the 380 parts are made at? Nice stuff!! Thanks again.Don
