Hi everyone,

I recently rebuilt a new i7 3770K rig. I keep seeing this NHancer program that seems to boost performance when set up properly?

1) is this a new driver as well, or just an enhancer to my existing nvidia driver?

2) where should I download this NHancer software from?

3) I see Driver sweeper is no longer available, as I want to update my drivers. What should I use in its place and most importantly, where is a SAFE place to download from? I do not run any antivirus software on my rig as I do not usually browse the web. I only Download products from well known sites and download associated files. I don't want to take a chance getting a virus as I'm sure you can all relate.

Your help is most appreciated. @Mods, sorry if this may be the wrong forum to post this on. Thanks again in advance.

Hi Jeff. There is a newer program than Nhancer that needs to be used for drivers after 275 or so. Its called Nvidia Inspector. I would recommend downloading and installing the latest drivers from Nvidia. There safe. The New nvidia driver installer has the option to do a clean install, I would recommend using that option. Not so sure Nhancer or Nvidia Inspector boost performance but it will enhance the quality of graphics through AA if setup properly.

Much appreciated. If Nvidia now has the option for a clean install, that does the same thing as removing old driver remnants, that is great. I will DL Nvidia inspector and read over Word Not Allowed's guide for setup on this.
