Cape Cod Airport is forced to close

Recommended Posts

It's so sad to see small airports like these close for un-needed reasons. I konw how ya feel this happened in our community last year with Marlboro Airport. It was an important asset to our community and it was destroyed without any regard to the pilots and people who use the facility. It now has 450, yes, 450 senior citizen houses over it. Terrible....just terrible...Heres some articles on Marlboro Airporthttp://tritown.gmnews.com/News/2002/0815/Front_Page/004.htmlhttp://independent.gmnews.com/News/2000/03...t_Page/f10.htmlhttp://newstranscript.gmnews.com/News/2002...t_Page/004.htmlIt's a shame- you lose many friends that way- we all get scattered to different airports :( Atleast Cape Cod Airport had a nice "memorial service" - a proper goodbye. We were just told to leave- runway is being torn-up bright and early tommorow...Jay
