Featured Replies

I'm having an issue, which i think may have happened after i tried turning off blending initially, so i could get rex water textures back.. now i have jaggy edges and i'm not sure why...

It would seem the only way to get rex textures to show up or regular water for landing with a water craft is to have water_mask=on.. i've tried playing with combinations of settings but i havent found a way around the jagged shorelines just yet...

i've also noticed my tiles per second access maxes at about 60 per second at best, which given my connection and even my connection tweak in proxyuser.ini should be yielding alot more.. i've read on here of some getting as much as 4000.

Even though after several tries i had water_blending=on in the settings.. it would seem a comment just after this point had caused the line to be ignored, resulting in it actually being turned off (which i happened to catch in the proxyuser.exe dos window).. after fixing this all shorelines look as they should :)

Hi,

About the jaggy edges, I solved a similar trouble when putting the following settings - maybe it would help :

water_mask=On

# d=On - Off => water is solid

water_blending=On

# d=On

blend_distance=100.0

# 50 ?? 200.0 d= 500

blend_exponent=1

# other possible values ???

water_smoothing=On

# d=Off

water_threshold=0.5

# if water_smoothing=On 0.10 => 0.50
