October 14, 201213 yr I use FSX and it runs pretty well, now I purchased and installed P3D Academic, with the same graphics configuration and other settings (I have both exe's in the same profile at NVidia Inspector) , but it always crash after about 5 to 10 minutes running.- Warning signs appears telling that a fatal error ocurred and P3D is no working any more, and that Windows is trying to find a solution, after what it shuts off.-\ Is a pity, as I can notice within the moments it works, that it looks better than FSX, specially it is smoother at lower frame rates.- Opinions welcome Thanks My specs: i7 990X @ 4,6Ghz, GF570 GTX, 6 Gb RAM.- Win 7 64 Jorge Soldano
October 14, 201213 yr I recall seeing something about going to the Prepar3D root folder. Right click on the Prepar3D.exe\Properties\Compatibilities\ Click run this program as administrator mat be one cure.. Without seeing what error it generated may be tough to help.
