July 8, 200421 yr Hello,Ive finally bought the ch yoke USB and i am really happy with itBUT...I think i might have some calibration issues since when i try to fly straight i manage to do so for a couple of second but after 5 seconds the plane would start to lose altitude and i am not touching the throttle i am just trying to trim it ..WHat could be the problem. Have i wasted 120 bucks for vain ?Need your helpthanks ,Ben.
July 8, 200421 yr Ben, if you installed the drivers and things from the CH CD then uninstall them. You don't need them with a USB Yoke. I found this out the hard way when my calibration and settings all went to he** after installing the manager software from the cd. You can do a regular joystick calibration on device number 2 set up your button functions in flightsim and everything will work fine. I assume you have XP as your operating system.Willhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg
July 8, 200421 yr Thanks for answering so quick"You can do a regular joystick calibration on device number 2 set up your button functions in flightsim and everything will work fine"How can i do that without the official CH drivers? Will windows let me calibrate my yoke with its driver
July 9, 200421 yr In Windows (XP for me), all my CH products are Plug and Play. Go right on into your Control Panel screen and calibrate your yoke... Rick
July 11, 200421 yr Sorry I took so long to get back to you. The official CH drivers are for gameport use. For USB use you are better off using the windows xp drivers for it. Windows will let you calibrate the yoke and all your levers in the control panel look for game controllers and when you click on that you should see your flight yoke listed there.Willhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg
