October 17, 201213 yr Just wondering if anyone uses the ENB fix for FSX in the daytime. Or is it mainly a nighttime only thing? Chris
October 17, 201213 yr ENB is a mod that must be carefully adjusted by the user to get the desired experience for both day and night use in FSX. However, if you're unfamiliar with it (or lazy ) I would recommend taking the same first step I did with ENB: Get 'Natural ENB' from the REX forums, its not too hard to find. A nice perfectly saturated day with a nice dark realistic night (or at least, from my computer). FS2004 Forever
October 17, 201213 yr Until recently, I mainly only used ENB during the day (and that's very typical). I finally got around to making a custom .cfg file that works beautifully at night and day. My initial idea was to make the dark areas darker and colors more "washed out" at night, and I achieved that. To answer your question more directly: ENB is more typically a "day only thing". ENB is a mod that must be carefully adjusted by the user to get the desired experience for both day and night use in FSX. A nice perfectly saturated day with a nice dark realistic night (or at least, from my computer). The problem I found with that .ini was that shadows during the day were absolutely too dark. Adjusting "DarkeningAmountDay=" to a lower number (40) fixed that issue, but I still ended up developing my own file. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
