NZSI Autogen Related Stuttering

Featured Replies

Hi guys I just reinstalled OrbX NZSI and am wondering if anyone else has noticed this issue. After I takeoff and fly around the scenery a bit I notice that over time I start to get little pauses as I fly around to the point where they last nearly half a second or so. The pauses occur every 5 - 10 seconds and it gets worse as time goes on. I found last time I used this scenery that reducing the number of autogen trees tended to help but I haven't encountered anyone else having this problem and on a system like mine it obviously isn't a great thing to have to reduce autogen in such nice scenery. Anyone have any advice? Have tried in several different planes. Am reluctant to purchase any more products from OrbX is this isn't fixable as it is very annoying. Perhaps they've made some optimizations to performance with NZNI?

Is FSX running on the SSD or the WD Green Drive?

Also, have you followed Word Not Allowed's Software and Hardware Guide?

Yup it's definitely on the SSD as is windows. The WD drive is only for other games and downloads as the SSD is quite small. I've followed Word Not Allowed's guide as far as software setup goes but my hardware was purchased before his guide existed. Near as I can tell though it should be acceptable (see specs in profile).
