October 20, 201213 yr I installed FSX from retail discs and have been running it for a while now. Today I needed to edit my FSK.cfg. to install an add-on program for the sim but I found that I don't have a FSX.cfg file. I never had reason to access it before and for all I know it was never included in the initial installation. Either that, or somewhere along the way, it got deleted. Any ideas on how to get it back without reinstalling FSX? Thanks for any help, __JimR
October 20, 201213 yr Hello Jim The fsx.cfg file is not under your FSX install folder. It is under user\appdata. If you are using Windows 7 try this: %appdata%\microsoft\fsx <- Copy paste to the address bar There you should find the fsx.cfg file plus others. Make a copy of it before you edit it. (Worst case scenario you can delete it and it will be reconstructed on next FSX run) Note: Somehow your post was posted 4 times, ask a moderator to delete the other 3 copies. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
