AFCAD - Number of gates required...

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

Is there an application out there that can read a flightplans.txt for an airline and figure out how many parking stands are needed for it? This would then have the effect of being able to better plan AFCADs and optimise the use of airline codes. Any help much appreciated!

Have a look at AI Flight Planner. I think the latest version has some analysis tools

I think Yroute or AI Traffic Mover used to have a "loading" feature for FS9, but I don't recall anything for FSX like this. Closest is an airport timetable such as AIFP2 I think.

Using AIFP2 under

File select Identify aircraft that visit selected airport

Type in the ICAO

Double click identify aircraft that visit selected airport

this will produce a tree from where you navigate to your flightplans

It will, after a few minutes list all the aircraft and gate\parking sizes
