FSWidgets have released the most significant update so far to their flagship iPad app, iGMapHD.

 

Verison 3.0 delivers several enhancements with a completely rewitten mapping engine optimized for the iPad. Other changes include smoother panning and pinch to zoom animations, a classier dark UI, a new base map and five Cloud Based aero charts covering New Zealand, Australia, South America, Europe and Canada.

 

Dropbox support has also been added for easy transferring of flight plans to the iPad.
