What's the new member ID field under the avatars? I see no reason why we would want to know the ID's of the members?

Didn't you know? The 101,788th member is winning a Cessna 182! JOKING!!! I don't know, didn't notice it until you said something. Tom may be adjusting some settings somewhere.

The memeber ID has always existed. It is the means by which the system keep track of you in the databases, rather than using your name or log in, etc. I put it out so we can see it, as some admin functions require us to use that, rather than your account name, email, etc. This makes finding the ID easier.
