Strange Joystick Button Issue - Landing Gear

Featured Replies

I've just picked up a Saitek X52 system and am loving it from the very little I've played with it, but something strange is going on.

I have buttons on the joystick assigned to views through EZDok, and one of the buttons I have assigned to a camera is also dropping/retracting the landing gear when I press it. I've gone into the control settings in game and have cleared all assignments relating to landing gear and reassigned it (to a different button).

So I have a button which drops/retracts the landing gear which I DO want, and I have another button which drops/retracts the landing gear and I DON'T want it to. Why are two buttons performing this function when I only have one assigned?

Any help appreciated!

PS I don't have any software installed for the Saitek which might have a conflicting key assignment - it just autodetected through Win7.

Think I've solved.

Cheers

Can you tell me how you solved it cuz I seem to be having the same problem after a reinstall of FSX!!!!

I guess I solved it too. Just deleted landing gear assignment and reassigned. Stupid, stupid FSX. Seems I spend more time fixing than flying. But I love it DAMMIT!

Yes I did this about 5 times...still persisted!

Then did it again and it finally solved it!
