Mouse clicks

Featured Replies

I know its a stupid question but I can't get rid of a loud click every time I use my mouse to click on a button in FS9. It only happens when I'm in FS9. I've turned off all chimes, warbles, and associated beeps and buzzers, but the clicks have resisted all my attempts to remove them. Have I got a virus? I'm running XP Pro. Help, please, this is driving me nuts!! :-grr

This isnt the fastest way to fix the problem but its what I did when I wanted to get rid of an unwanted sound.Do a search for all the sound files in your FS9 folder. Then drag all of them into Winamp (or whatever media player you use) and play them all. You will recognise the mouse-click sound. Note which one it is, go back to the folder where its sitting and delete it.Of course your job will be easier if the sound has an obvious name like "mouse_click" or something, but if not you can try the above..Hope it helps
