'Sound_file not found' error

Featured Replies

I have just reinstalled FS9 and now, when I try to load any Airbus, get the above error message. I am using exactly the same sound files as before and exactly the same aircraft.cfg files (where the sound entry points to a blank, i.e. "sound= " .... the sound folder is just called 'sound'). Before I had no problems at all - I am at a loss to explain this, nothing I can see is different, unless there is a dll file missing somewhere or somehow my fs9.cfg file has been messed up.Does anyone have any leads here? Thank you.Martin

At 3.00am I tracked the problem sound to a sound missing in the main FS folder required by the panel. Needle in a haystack, but now everything is OK...M.
