ase 2012 client/server question

Featured Replies

ok im running 2 computers, fsx with wide server and wide traffic. latest fcuip. i had been running ase through the main computer that fcuip is set to server on. but now i want to run ase from the other computer (client). while configuring the SDK xml and the ini file as described in a post, do i now set my client as the server in the xml file since ill be starting it on the client pc? or do i keep the main pc as server since my fcuipc is recognising it as server?. im wanting not to change all my addons from main pc (server) just want to run ase and rc4 from the 2nd pc (client) hope that makes sense. thank you

The computer you are running FSX on will always be your Server. ASE will require a simconnect setup. It is outlined quite well in the ASE manual. RC4 requires Wideserver and it too is outlined in the RC4 manual.
