Featured Replies

Hi I recently have Got FSX 2 moths ago I have 4GB ram and it runs pretty well. Recently FSX seems to be causing these Disruptive shutdowns. When I look in the event monitor it just says distruptive shutdown any ideas please help!!!

What is a "Disruptive shutdown"? Any screenshots of what you mean?

can not send a screen shot but the screen fades and then shuts off

and it says in the event manager "Distruptive shutdown"

This possible solution is for Vista but will work well in Windows 7 too - http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-system/disruptive-shutdown/10c1a3b2-e1c9-4b33-ab88-fedf4d768314. Good luck!

Best regards,

Jim

Guys HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried FSX Same thing happened and as of this moment the computer won't boot as in failed to start and i have had a few Blue Screen Of Deths BSOD too

If you had a BSOD(s) then it is most likely a hardware failure or something beginning to fail. But just telling us you had a BSOD doesn't help us find a solution for you. You need to run Blue Screen View and let us know what the error of the latest BSOD states - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html.

Best regards,

Jim
