HELP Crash to desktop

Featured Replies

After experimenting I found that when I load a flight with day textures FS crashes after it loads about 56%. If I load night textures it loads no problem. I tried a fresh Confg. file to no avail. I've had the sim forever and never had a problem. Here's the strange part, this only happens with US. airports. If I choose dawn, day, or dusk the sim crashes while loading. Night is fine and Canadian airports load fine anytime of day.Dave FisherCYYZP4 2.8 GB 478P 533 MHZ CPUP4P800S Asus Motherboard512 DDRGeforce Ti 4200/128Maxtor 80 Gig ATA 133 HDhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg

I think I found the culprit, the new texture files for US Roads. I tried the default FS roads and everything is ok.D Fisher

Do you have "render to texture" enabled? When it is turned off I know MSFS doesn't like certain add-on textures, especially those in DXT-3 format.....-John

I've just installed the new batch of replacement textures for US Roads and it works fine. There must have been a bad file in the original.D Fisher
