November 18, 201213 yr Author Ok at this point I am just happy it works manually. Would be nice to take advantage of autostart but for some weird reason my system is not allowing it. I even tried repairing and finally an uninstall/reinstall to the C: drive with no joy. So to all that helped me out today a big thank you for all the quick responses.
November 18, 201213 yr Would be nice to take advantage of autostart but for some weird reason my system is not allowing it. It should work for you! Could you upload your exe.xml here, for us to see? You are saving the file as EXE. XML and not EXE.XML.TXT? Regards. DIMITRI
November 18, 201213 yr Author I used NotePad to paste the code into then saved it as exe.xml. I reinstalled to the C drive earlier hence the change to the path.

November 18, 201213 yr Author Did not change anything. Sorry. Should the Opus options be available in the addons tab in FSX? I am assuming yes.
November 18, 201213 yr Commercial Member The exe.xml file should be in the \Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\' directory where 'username' identifies your login account name. You can install OpusFSX on any drive, it is not a problem, just don't install on more than one drive on your PC. Cheryl

November 19, 201213 yr Author Not sure why auto start is not working. It is loading and functional via manual starting. I am out of options it appears so I will just be happy it runs manually. Thanks for all the help. Quickest support help I have ever gotten. Tom
November 19, 201213 yr Commercial Member Hi Tom Did you find out what the FSUIPC Error 740 meant, might give us a clue as to what is wrong. What operating system are you using? Cheryl
November 20, 201213 yr The Opus options should be available in the addons tab in FSX. I have found when going to the addons tab and going to the OPUSFSI Reports tab and having my destination and alternatives plugged in that sometimes when I click or press the respective # or airport METAR I want to look at that the window closes and does not reappear. Then after a bit or re clicking it will re open and go through the menus. Why is the box not staying open and changing through the different options consistently?
November 20, 201213 yr Commercial Member It works fine here, we are using the 2.50.5 beta. We don't automatically close the report window at any time. Did the problem seem to coincide with any event such as a weather update? Cheryl
November 20, 201213 yr Author Hi Tom Did you find out what the FSUIPC Error 740 meant, might give us a clue as to what is wrong. What operating system are you using? Cheryl I am using Windows 7 x64 Home Premium. At the moment I am researching the Error 740 code, but I am not finding any straight forward threads. I will be scouring the FSUIPC support forums over the next few days. I will let you know what I come up with.

We may need to add a little more delay to let FSX sort itself out, this is the sort of thing FSX does if it does not have time to process the window requests. Unfortunately its a little bit hit or miss with this sort of thing. I will increase the delay and post it in the next update, probably 2.50.7. Regards Stephen
November 20, 201213 yr Thanks. It worked fine for the most part on my redeye flight last evening/this morning but there were one or two instances where I opened the window and I clicked the # I wanted and it dissappeared but eventually it came back with the infor I needed. Work in progress.
