Hi, I am getting a new hard drive which will be a Ocz 240 SSD i dont want to clone my old HDD as i think there is something wrong with it as i cannot evan do a system restore unless in safe mode,

now all i am after is where can i get the software from as i already have my product key.

You should have either a system restore disc that came with the PC, which links to a hidden partition on the C drive or a Win7 OEM disc if you built it yourself.

 

Worse case scenario...new bought PC and you should have made a full system restore disc(s) with the manufacturers included software facility. As quite often they do not include the disks themselves nowadays, they prompt you to make your own when you first boot the machine.

 

If that is the case and you didn't make your restore discs you will need to contact the manufacturer....and HOPE they can assist. If they can you will be charged for discs to be sent to you. Don't hold your breath.

 

Might be better buying a new copy of Windows and searching for the Drivers you need, on another PC, before you start to do anything.
