November 19, 201213 yr I have AS2012 build 4569 with a Win 7 64-bit system and FSX. At 10:00 PM EDT on July 28, 2012 at Raleigh-Durham airport (KRDU), severe thunderstorms moved through the area and were active for at least a half hour. For several weeks I retrieved the historical weather for that time and enjoyed the lightning. AS2012 loaded the weather correctly every time. I tried again this evening and even though it appears that the weather download completed, when I start FSX the sky is clear. I don't understand why. I've been very busy and haven't used AS2012 and FSX for quite a while, so maybe I've forgotten to specify an option of some sort. Can someone help me figure out how to retrieve that weather? Thanks Very Much, MH
November 19, 201213 yr Commercial Member Hi there, Not sure what is happening but the data has not changed and if you've not made any program updates or option changes, neither has AS. Something perhaps in your sim environment? I would suggest updating to SP2 beta (www.hifitechinc.com/Downloads) and using a default options profile to ensure the options are as recommended. If you continue having any trouble perhaps a support ticket would be most effective (please supply a log export so we can check the details, as well as duplication steps). Thanks!
