July 23, 200421 yr Hello Fellow Pilots,I need help in determining the location of the EGT Gauge in the FS2004 Mooney Bravo. Unless I am blind I can't locate the EGT needle. Every time I need to lean the mixture I need to see the EGT needle to peak. Can you please let me know where it is...Thanks a lot Juliet Lima
July 23, 200421 yr In the Mooney, you'd use the #### (turbine inlet temperature?) gauge. It's located just above the manifold pressure gauge. If I'm misinformed, feel free to jump in, anyone...Rick...and I see the forum doesn't allow those three letters together so let's just pronounce it Tee - Eye - Tee... Rick
July 23, 200421 yr From memory, Mooneys ship with a complex flight manual that includes power charts that provide MP/Fuel Flow settings for the various flight regimes. Set desired MP, then adjust mixture to achieve the book figure on FF, adjusted for weather. Tee-Eye-Tee is only a secondary monitor. If such a document exists for the FS version then I would use that. Adjusting to peak T.I.T. with small analogue gauges is difficult, and not the same as EGT anyway!Allcott
