July 24, 200421 yr Hi,I am trying to add reverse thrust to my joystick via FSUIPC, I cant seem to figure out how to do it.Has anyone managed to do this?, and if so, can you let me know how?CheersDan.
July 24, 200421 yr I have that set on my joystick throttle. What you are doing is changing the throttle point for idle to a different physical position. You must have a registered copy of FSUIPC to use the joystick options. As noted in the FSUIPC User Guide, Joystick Section, it is recommended that the fsxxx.cfg file be manually modified and locked before attempting to make any changes in FSUIPC.Once you have the fsxxx.cfg file locked, start the Flight Simulator, let it stabilize, select Modules, FSUIPC. Select Joystick tab, select page 1 of 8, Main Flight Controls and enable the Map to 4 throttles checkbox.Select page 3 of 8, Separate Throttle per engine. Look at Throttle 1 controls. If the left most button says reset, press it. It should change to Set. Press the Set button and three new Set buttons should appear.Move the throttle to the max reverse position, press the Reverse Set button. Move the throttle to the max thrust position, press the Max Set button. Move the throttle to a convenient location near the reverse end of the throttle, press the Idle Set button once. Move the throttle ever so slightly toward the reverse end of the throttle, press the Idle Set button once. Here are the numbers for my setup:Reverse__Idle___Max-16256_-15686_16256_______-15683You can type these numbers into the FSUIPC.ini file:[JoystickCalibration]Throttle1=-16256,-15686,-15683,16256Of course, there will be other axes and joystick button information that you may have set.W. July 24, 200421 yr It's a long time since I did that, but try this. Go into fsuipc, joysticks. On page one,set the throttle then tick the box "map to 4 throttles" That should put reverse thrust on your throttle. Give it a try to see how it works. Any ajustments to the position of the throttle when reverser kicks in can then be made on page three. I'm assuming you have a separate throttle? If not, just assign F2 to a button on your joystick thro' fs9 assignments. Hope this helps to get you where you want to be.Russell.
