November 30, 201213 yr Commercial Member Obviously, nighttime flying with TileProxy is as dark as flying on the dark side of the Moon but I have a question before I embark in giving TileProxy a shot... Can I have UTX Night Lighting enabled and be able to at least see the nightlighting superimposed over the tileproxy tiles at night? Is this is possible or does anyone have any workarounds? I would really like to know beforehand because if it can be done, then it would worthwhile. Thanks guys and ladies... Regards, Efrain RuizLiveDISPATCH @ http://www.livedispatch.org (CLOSED) ☹️
November 30, 201213 yr Well it's your lucky day Efrain - Mrs TT is out for the evening and mini-TT is tucked up in bed. So I actually have some time to myself! Quick test - UTX Europe night lighting seems to work fine with Tileproxy. You got a fast internet connection?

LOL Mrs. BC is out with Ms. BC and Mr. BC Jr is out for the night with perhaps future Mrs. BC Jr. HAHAHAHA So I also have some time for myself. Yup, Verizon Fios 35/35... Fast enough? haha Regards, Efrain RuizLiveDISPATCH @ http://www.livedispatch.org (CLOSED) ☹️
December 2, 201213 yr Presume that's 35Mb? Should be enough! The key with it seems to be to get the level mapping correct for the level of detail you want and the speed of your internet connection. You also have to be a fan of photoscenery. Tileproxy isn't perfect but it's produced some breathtaking results, and all for free!
