I echo the others, great news

Airliner for Prepar3D v2.3 ?
Well that would have been an early version of P3Dv2. Not sure on P3Dv3 as I've not tried to use them in it - I bought the Aerosoft Airbus a while ago and haven't used anything else since!
- Oh My

Generationh X and Revolution X with P3D
This. I have Horizon GenX 1, 2 & 3 and have actually given up with them in P3D as the colour looks so wrong with HDR on. Last night I bought Just Flight VFR as the colour looks more natural, so we shall see...

Afternoon flight: Athens to Stuttgart with 777
Great stuff. Very natural colours

What's the ReShade preset you're using Pe11e?

Active Sky Cloud Art for FSX & P3D - Released!
AS16 with soft clouds but no ASCA here. ASCA is not tempting me at the moment tbh.

Active Sky Cloud Art for FSX & P3D - Released!
In light of that (pun intended), what are your ReShade settings?

Active Sky Cloud Art for FSX & P3D - Released!
Ah thanks. I don't have ReShade, maybe I should give it a try...

Active Sky Cloud Art for FSX & P3D - Released!
Do you have HDR turned on? I like the natural tones on your screenshots, and was wondering how you got them?

Phenom 300 High Above
Almost indecipherable from a photo! Good work!

Active Sky Cloud Art for FSX & P3D - Released!
Well it took me all of about 5s before purchasing it last night! Initial quick flight looked very good Can't wait for AS16 + REX SkyForce!

Active Sky Cloud Art for FSX & P3D - Released!
Ok basically identical to mine apart from the fact I'm still on ASN. My wallet might not be your friend!

Active Sky Cloud Art for FSX & P3D - Released!
Nice. What setup is that then in terms of weather/textures?
-
New Rex SkyForce 3D - The ASN Killer?
No, as far as I understand it ASCA does not replace anything of the default weather depiction engine within FSX/P3D. It simply enhances the weather injection program with real-time changes to cloud textures.
-
New Rex SkyForce 3D - The ASN Killer?
What he is saying is that it effectively replaces the default weather depiction engine that ships with FSX/P3D. The internal one that is actually producing the visuals in the simulator. As long as SkyForce conforms to the API of the default FSX/P3D weather depiction engine it replaces, any 3rd party weather injection program (ASN/AS16/Opus/REX Ess+ etc) can be used with it as that injection program is essentially just pushing a load of parameters into the sim through it. SkyForce will then take those parameters and depict them in a new (impressive looking at the moment) way. Probably massively oversimplified, but that's how I understand it.

[POLL] Project Airbus or Aerosoft
Fair point - maybe point of note, or word of advice would have been better. No negative connotations were meant as it's an excellent product. I understand entirely what you've said about the AIRAC data. It's nothing to do with not actually needing to update it; let me try to expand the sequence of events I went through (and I'm sure I'm not the only one). 1. Purchase AS A320. At that point I have no flight planners or extra AIRAC data. 2. Realise that the online flight planners don't really cut the mustard, nor does the bundled one. 3. Purchase a flight planner (in my case PFPX). 4. Realise quite quickly that PFPX and the A320 are not using the same cycle of AIRAC data from NavDataPro (so I'm getting differences in STARs etc), and that I can't push the A320 cycle to PFPX or vice versa to get them to match. 5. Buy a single cycle of NavDataPro to put into PFPX and the A320 so that they match. 6. Realise that I also need approach charts that are in line with those AIRAC cycles. 7. Ditch the single NavDataPro cycle for a monthly Navigraph subscription so that the 3 things that use AIRAC data (aircraft, planner and approach charts) are all working from the same source of AIRAC data.

[POLL] Project Airbus or Aerosoft
Used PA for aaaaaages, then bought Aerosoft's A320/321. Never even touched the PA since - it's a great freeware model but it doesn't have the depth of the Aerosoft aircraft - which is just about spot on for me. Yes the FSLabs A320 will/may be more comprehensive but Aerosoft have struck just the right level with the A320 for me. My only word of warning is that if you do buy it be prepared to spend money on flight planners and AIRAC data as well, otherwise you'll end up getting frustrated (at least I did).

Autogen Tree Shadows - Strange rendering behavior.
I still get shimmering autogen shadows if I turn them on.

Aerosoft Airbus and 3.3.5.17625 ?
Have both, and both work fine.
