December 8, 201213 yr At the AVSIM Boardof Directors meeting in November, the decision was made to shut down the AVSIM Store, and to remove AVSIM from that aspect of flight simulation. There are a number of reasons for taking this step. The first is that we have concluded that AVSIM should not be in in product sales and distribution. By shutting down the store, we return to our roots and remove any potential appearance of lack of objectivity in our reviews and our public comments. The new AVSIM Store, which was established in June of 2012, will continue to provide access to purchaser's files through their forum client area from their User Control Panel. Purchases prior to June of 2012 from Vmax will as always, be supported by Vmax directly. We will leave the AVSIM Store forum open until the first of the year for questions and any issues that might arise, but as a first step, we remind everyone to contact the Vmax store manager as show in the AVSIM Store Forum description first.
