December 14, 201213 yr Guys, I'm finally building a new system based on Intel Core i7 3770k aiming at 4,9Ghz o/c. I'm in the porcess of choosing RAM at Newegg. Please share your thoughts on G.SKILL Trident X Series 16GB (2x8GB) vs 8Gb (2x4GB). Thanks, Dirk.
December 15, 201213 yr Author 2 x 8Gb superfast 2400 RAM is no good for FSX? I know 2x8Gb fast RAM can be beneficial to some modern games, but can it be detrimental for the overall performance in FSX compared to 2x4Gb. Thanks, Dirk.
December 15, 201213 yr I was poking around Newegg, dreaming a little.... These caught my eye; http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231591 The negative comments came from people who didn't do their research! Finding a mobo on the tested list would be the key here. As to whether 8gb or 16gb? Depends upon your needs and the ram/mobo compatibility. 8gb would be good enough for me.
