Program Pin Error - SP1C - Airac 1213

Featured Replies

Approaching EHAM on a STAR flying online on VATSIM I was ATC'ed "DCT SPY after SOGUL". I entered SPY, wich is not in the STAR I was flying, I chose the correct SPY and LSK2'ed it under SOGUL in my legs page. I immidiately got the Program Pin Error and FSX frose. SB4 disconnected from VATSIM and I was done.

My FSX is stable, never had a CTD or hang in NGX before in my 150-200 hours flying it. The flight was the second in a rotation so I had flown one leg of my rotation, refueled and started off to EHAM. The first flight was originally started from the short panel state.

Did I do something wrong in the way I tried to enter a new waypoint (VOR) into my flightplan, or was this just a fluke?

Oh, yes one more thing wich could be the culprit I guess, I saw in the Aivlasoft EFB data provider log that almost exactly on the time of the error, EFB synchronized the UTC time in FSX.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks, regards

Morten Steen

Had this before also, don't use efb so think you can rule it out.

Ok, thanks, there has been reports about problems with Airac 1213 so the first I will do is to repeat the actual scenario and see what happens.

Merry Christmas,

Morten
