multimonitors in portrait mode

Featured Replies

I'm slowly thinking up my next rig that I should build mid-next year. Have some of you tried multimonitors (2 or 3) in a portrait configuration instead of landscape so as to see both ahead of you throught the cockpit window and all the instruments at the same time ? What do you think  ?

I tried a portrait setup one day on my GTX680 w/3 21.5" monitors to see what it would look like.

While I really liked the view it gave, the narrower spacing between the monitor bezels bugged me. They seemed just more obvious that in landscape. So I stuck to landscape.
