December 22, 201213 yr I get the sense the 600 series cards may not be the best for this situation but I don't really know. Bang for buck is important, however if performance when using dense clouds is affected by the GPU in higher CPU performance workstations then this is a definite characteristic of performance for me. My GTX 280 chokes significantly w/ some of the cloud sets in REX E+ when fully dense.
